Welcome to Epicquatch: Final Fantasy!
So, this is you confessional! It’s a place for you to tell us your strategies, or even for you to vent out your frustrations on the game and the players in it. It’s pretty much a place for you to let us know your thoughts on everything, so please feel free to use it as often as you would like! Oh, needless to say that everything said here is private and only hosts can see it, so don’t hold back!
So, some opening questions!
What is your strategy for coming into this game? Do you have one or are you just going to see how it goes?
Have you ever played a Final Fantasy game before? If so, what is your favourite? If you haven’t, seriously don’t worry since you don’t need to know anything about it to do well in this game, I’m just curious!
Do you plan on falling into a schtick, or are you just going to be yourself?
What do you think your chances of winning this game are?
What do you think about some of the twists, and how do you think they will affect your game?
Anyway, just remember to have fun! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to PM a host!

I was made aware of the game some time ago, a certain someone kept me in mind in case there were any drop outs............. and here i am . I am going to put myself out there and make it known that i am planning to be around for the long haul (timezone allowing of course - which they can't know about obviously). I remember playing one of the earlier games many years ago i think it was FF3. I own FFVII but not on the original playstation. I was a late bloomer and picked up a copy of the pc version about 10 years ago. I DO have the version that;s on the PSN on the ps3, and i also purchased it when it became available on Steam (pc) many months ago. I own but never finished FFX, i also own FFXIII - purchased it not long after it came out............... as well as the game guide. It is still sitting in the shrink wrap in my unplayed pile of games (aka pile of shame lol). FF fans everywhere probably just died because of this revelation. I have seen FF Advent Children when it originally came out on dvd, i own the complete edition on blu-ray as well. I am mostly going to inject my own personality in the game so look out it's going to get random and probably annoying . I looked up how to portay Cloud as a character, whether i stay true to the principles or not remains to be seen. My chances are relatively slim as they are in any org i play. I mostly play to survive. I'll react to the twists as they happen.

So, now once you've had a few hours (maybe a little more) to talk to some of your tribe, what do you make of them? Any clear favourites?
How well do you think you'll end up doing in this challenge? Feeling confident?

I have only had the chance to talk with lightning, balthier, sephiroth and tidus
I have talked with Sephiroth the most Next best would be Tidus, we've talked a bit about the challenge and possibly working together going forward. I suggested we work with lightning and Sephiroth because we were the only active ones at the time... he liked the idea but also thought i was moving too fast, but eh i just thought have the one's that are most active and keen in a group.
Lightning has said we should join up as we seem to talk to the same people
Balthier just talks about farting

Didn’t you just LOVE that challenge? So, now once it is said and done, how confident are you in your tribes success? If you end up going to TC tonight, will it be a scramble or do you think it’s a pretty easy vote? Also, how confident are you in your position within your tribe?

We will most likely lose as our time was less than stellar, unless they made as many mistakes as we (or I did) with so many of them online at the same time they would have blitzed through 2000 much more faster.
We are supposedly voting out Kuja if we visit tribal.
I am more secure in the knowledge of there being more people that were not present in the challenge, yes i made some mistakes that cost us 2-4-6 hours but at least i made an effort.

Since i don't want to get in trouble talking publicly i just will post here that challenge was interesting, i can't draw in paint obviously!
I tried to make the things stand out - sword, gun and train should be obvious.
The plane was a hard one, wasn't sure if i should attempt a side on angle, ultimately i decided to draw it as though we were looking top down - kind of like an outside flight simulator camera angle.
Let's not speak of my goat drawing ever again!

Seeing Tidus' answer in hindsight i should have made the background black instead of keeping it white, would have been obvious that the drawing was intended to be white. If i could have drawn an extra object (maybe it was allowed, maybe it wasn't) i would have drawn it with grass in it's mouth and maybe made the horns a bit bigger. I was trying to rush it in case the other team was working faster and got all 5 of theirs in before us.
