Okay so I have been ORGing for around 3 years now and I've played a hell of a lot of games during that time but I've only ever won once and that was in my first game ever. I feel like I've lost the killer instinct or something because now I always choke. I need to channel some of that old me in this because I am hungry for another win. And who better to do it as than this beautiful bronze sex god?

What is your strategy for coming into this game? Do you have one or are you just going to see how it goes?

I'm gonna see how it goes for now. My general strategy is to just to be active and social but I also want to play hard. I need to be more cut-throat and aggressive than I have been of late. I am honest to a fault sometimes so I need to watch that. I think I often get too caught up in making friends and having a good time that I lose sight of the end goal. I've gotta keep my eye on the prize & not settle for anything less than 1st place.

Have you ever played a Final Fantasy game before? If so, what is your favourite? If you haven’t, seriously don’t worry since you don’t need to know anything about it to do well in this game, I’m just curious!

I've played all of them! X is my favourite, of course, but I'm a big fan of the entire series! At a quick glance, it looks like I might be one of the only ones though.

Do you plan on falling into a schtick, or are you just going to be yourself?

I do plan on playing in character but I'm not very good at that which is why I chose Tidus since I figured it would be easy for me. I have already noticed that I speak much more formally than he would, but I can't help it! So I will just be Tidus but a bit posh.

What do you think your chances of winning this game are?

Good! I hope.

What do you think about some of the twists, and how do you think they will affect your game?

Dunno yet. I'll answer this when I find out what the twists are!

Okay so things have been pretty quiet on Balamb so far. It's still early though and we have all weekend to get to know each other so there's no rush. Here are some of my first impressions of my tribemates based on the very minimal interaction I've had with them:

Lightning was the first person here and quite talkative. She seems like she will be active and committed which is always a good person to have around. She's also a little spunky which I like.

Cloud also seems quite reliable. He's nice but a little boring.

Sephiroth I wasn't sure about at first since he is totally out of character but he's actually pretty funny and endearing. I still haven't spoken to him much tho so idk. Maybe he will turn out to be annoying.

Yuna made me lol when she just casually rocked up as the challenge was starting and started telling us all what to do. I haven't heard from her yet so I just sent her a PM saying hello. I have high hopes - perhaps a showmance?

Vanille hasn't been around much and hasn't been PMing at all I don't think, but I appreciate that she is actually talking in the challenge strategy thread and trying to work something out so that she can help. That is good to see and I wish the others would speak up a bit more.

Who does that leave...? Oh right, Kefka. Meh. He is obviously playing to his character which means he might actually be a fellow FF fan but something about him rubs me the wrong way. It annoyed me that he kept asking about the leader in the challenge thread lol. I should probably message him but I don't want to.

And there's Balthier who is yet to show up. I really hope he does and is amazing because Balthier is one of the best FF charas and needs to be put to good use. Otherwise, we have an easy first boot I guess.

Oh there's also Kuja who is in the same boat as Balthier except his rep is less cool so idc about him.
