The Final Fantasy Film Festival Yes, is good and watching movies is good, yes? Yes, it is. But Vivi does no know Final Fantasy, but there have been some cool fanstasy movies made. Was going to kick this off with Final Fantasy movie, but it was not available*. *For available read found complete on youtubeSo I guess, welcome to the...
Final Fantasy Film Festival.... Lots of Fantasy films made over years. And series also. For today, 1980's had lots of fantasy films made. So even had 1980's celebrity resurreted for ocasion to open film festival... Some really good and not so good. But all is fun. And fun is important. And when having fun, feels good, yes? Some surprising dark undercurrents even in movie for kids that probably not allow nowadays. Hold Vivi's hand if get scared. ...and filled with suspense... But there will be fun as well, and magic. Because magic is movies! And movies are fun. So have good laugh. So get popcorn and snacks ready... Today's film will be a midday matinee, as we have events tonight.

Time for some previews.
Because what is trip to movies without the previews... Even if preview are for films that are for more than 30 years old?
And stick with theme of 1980's fantasy... there is good and the not so good.
....and the not so good... Sorry Arnie... Many more out there, but if we kept doig these it would be all previews and never get to main feature, STAY TUNED... There is still time to visit the Snack Bar before today's midday matinee!!!

Today's film may not be everyone, but should entertain, yes.
Ridley Scott direct Gladiator, Black Hawk Down & Prometheus, among others. Coming off the big success of Alien and Blad Runner, in 1985 turned his eye to this genre. Recruiting cast that included Dr Frank'n'furter himself, Tim Curry, the delictable Mia Sara (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) and wee Billy Barty, all alongside rising star, Tom Cruise.
Sit back and enjoy...
Or laugh derisavably and mock...
Whichever works best. Just have fun...
Because fun is good....
Curtains please, lower the lights
Legend.

Was that not fun. Bit of a culty classic. Devil demon and gruesome goblins, princess and a hero, elf and fairy, gromes and unicorns. All blended into a cocktail of mid 80's fantasical fantasy. Thanks for watching. Will leave so people can discuss movie, and movie discusion always best served after a movie witrh a quiet drink or chatty and piece of pie. I like pie. Anyone else like pie after movie? I do. Think it does well. Slice of pie... mmm Tomorrow, we will explore a trip down Eastern fantastical realms. Join me then for next day of Final Fantasy Film Festival!!!

"There shall never be another dawn!" I can't believe they cut off that poor unicorns horn. What bastards. Honeythorn Gump... "Answer this riddle and all will be forgiven." "What is a bell that does not ring, yet it's knell makes the angels sing?" This movie was weird. The good parts were where Mia Sara wears this: The devil REALLY wanted to stick his D into her P. How come he didn't win out in the end? Tom Cruise girly tossed that thing into him. This needed a dark ending, not a happy one! I had to fastforward some of the middle parts that dragged on forever. But I liked the lead up to the ending. So much could have been done with this once they got to the ending though. So much.

Wasn't there a movie called Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within?
I never watched it, but I just want to know who watched that.

Yes there was, not the entire move I can't find on youtube, just previews and clips, which is why mentioned this at top of opening post, lol

Does anyone else think that screenshot makes the Devil look like a sitcom husband? "But I don't wanna go to dinner with your parents, Mia! The game's on tonight!" *canned laughter*
